Automata enthusiast and friend of Laikingland Sergio Pinese created an automata making contest called Crankahead. With the competition deadline and Valentine’s Day fast approaching I thought it would be fun to make a piece for both occasions and the result was The Heart Machine. It’s an alarming little machine to demand the attention of the one you love.
